As a Christian the butterfly is a symbol of new life.
On a personal level it is a symbol of freedom.
Through this exhibition I seek to
challenge ingrained attitudes . . .
to those different to ourselves.

We fear what we do not know!

We may wish we lived in a Fairytale
But we don't live happily ever after.

We live in a society driven by social norms,
fear, misconceptions, judgements, false perceptions,
Bullying is no longer confined to the school yard.
It is rampant in all sections of society.

Racism dominates over multi-culturalism

Not all of us are open enough to share our

Some of us hide our self-load,

others enforce on us, accepting these
as truths. Not all of us a strong enough to survive.
